Sub. Application requesting a visitor visa for Canada

Dear Sir/Madam

I am Rehaan Zaman (Passport No.-U2981367), an Indian citizen living in the capital city, of New Delhi. I am writing this application to request you grant me a visitor visa for Canada for 10 days. My purpose for visiting Canada is to meet my Aunt (no blood relation) and family friend Mrs. Maya Mehta, who is a Canadian citizen. She is currently employed at a publishing company called ‘Frontline Publishers Ltd.’ as a Senior Editor and earns a yearly remuneration of $56,000.00. She has invited me to spend some time with her and her family in July.

Mrs. Maya Mehta is nothing less than a mother figure to me. Despite not having any blood relation, both our families share a precious bond that is free of any formality. My father and Mrs. Maya Mehta have been such close friends for years that everybody would recognize them as real siblings who shared a strong bond. During my growing years, we would visit each other’s homes quite frequently. It was one of the best times of my life as whenever we all met, the house was filled with laughter and merriment. We shared common values and ethics and looked forward to spending time together whenever possible. Our different cultures and backgrounds were only an advantage to us as it gave us extra reasons to celebrate. I remember that on all national and religious festivals, my aunt would bring assorted sweets, clothes, and other sweets, especially for me, and as a child, I would desperately look forward to it all. As I grew and started to find my feet in the world, my aunt would advise me to always study well, stay genuine, and work hard for my goals in life. After she moved to Canada, I missed our family get-togethers and was rarely able to contact her by phone as there were limited communication options available. However, owing to the advancement of technology in the last few years, my family and I have been in regular touch with Mrs. Maya Mehta and her family. We stay updated about each other’s lives, our various professional/personal events, milestones, and other ups and downs that we face. Some time back, my aunt expressed her desire to meet me and invited me to come to Canada. After talking to her, I too constantly kept on thinking about meeting my favorite aunt after such a long time. My heart beamed up with delight when I realized that such a trip would allow me to relive a joyful time with her and we will be able to create new memories of an already strong bond. I quickly went through my work schedule and finalized 10 days for my journey. I will be departing for Canada on 10th August 2025 and will return to India on 20th August 2025.

On my tour to Canada, my primary motive will be to spend quality time with Mrs. Maya Mehta and her family. We are going to meet again at a time when she is aging day by day and I have realized the value of the love and care she has shown towards me all her life. I cannot let go of an opportunity to look after her and talk to our heart’s content even if it is for a short period. She has promised to make my time in Canada worthwhile as we will be visiting the Toronto Zoo, different museums, Niagra Falls, and other famous places around Toronto. Moreover, I am certain that this time that I will spend with her and her family is going to be precious with lots of exchange of stories and experiences while relishing our local food cuisine.

Here in India, I am a successful businessman and have set up a company called Nayab Textiles Ltd. I started my business 4 years back and deal in export of textiles equipment, and machines to Middle- East countries. I have a property in New Delhi from which I receive a monthly rent of CAD 678. To add to this, we have vast farmland that cultivates apples and strawberries which are in huge demand in season. My father looks after them and we generate an annual income of CAD 20,000 from this occupation. I have credit worth CAD 9702.46 and CAD 35,146.63 in my savings and current account respectively. We have gold ornaments and other jewelry worth CAD 7435 and fixed deposits in banks that value              CAD 46, 346.15. We have immovable property worth CAD 435,912. I can assure you that me and my family live a comfortable life in India and can smoothly afford the luxuries that we want to enjoy. I will be taking care of my expenses to Canada which include travel fare, application charges, and other unforeseen expenditures. However, my aunt has offered to take care of my financial needs in Canada and will pay for my accommodation, food, and travel within the country. During the duration of my stay, I will be staying at Mrs. Maya Mehta’s home which is at 23rd Street, West Stephen’s Enclave, Ontario.

Although the importance of this trip to me is paramount in many regards, I have responsibilities in India that I cannot avoid for long. I am the only son of my elderly parents and I am supposed to provide them with sufficient love and care at this age. I have a wife and 2 children who too are dependent on me. I have a 6-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son. I cannot emotionally afford to live away from them for a long period or miss out on my children’s growing years. Furthermore, My wife Shabana Zaman and I have a strong marriage in which we are both mutually dependent on each other in our everyday lives. She is my soulmate who has always been a pillar of support to me. I cannot even think about living separately from her for too long. Currently, we are both enjoying our lives as parents of little children and a newborn. Nothing can match my excitement of returning home each day after work.

My work too holds great significance for me and I have detailed plans for my company’s future. I plan on extending my business to American countries and supplying textiles equipment there. I am also going to invest in the field of synthetic fibers because of its economic benefits. For this purpose, I traveled to New York, USA in June 2024 to attend the Global Textiles Trade Fair 2024. With my profile, I have attached an invoice that is significant to my business details. For professional and personal purposes, I have traveled to countries around the world. Some of them are the UK, USA, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Germany, United Kingdom, Morocco, South Africa, Italy, Germany, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Singapore. I have always been a responsible traveler who has abided by the rules of each country and never caused any trouble to the legal or cultural situation of a country. I can promise you that in Canada too, I will maintain a behavior that is expected from an international.

Finally, my motive for this trip is to validate the deep connection that I feel with my aunt Mrs. Maya Mehta. In India, we have a beautiful cultural tradition of taking care of our elders when they age. Although for a limited period only, I too want to fulfill this responsibility as her supposed son just like she cared for me when I was a child. I trust that you will find all my details in order as I promise to be available for any further information that you may need from me. I sincerely request you to consider my application and hope that you decide in my favor. For questions and clarifications, please feel free to get in touch anytime. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Underneath, I have attached a detailed itinerary of my stay in Canada-
