High Commission of Australia
Sub. Application requesting a visitor visa for Australia
Dear Sir/Madam
Introduction
I, Arif Osman (Passport No.- A78465297), a businessman hailing from Pakistan, would like to express my gratitude to the Australian High Commission for bestowing me with the opportunity to reveal my eminent desire to visit Australia. My clear purpose for this long-standing desire is to spend time in the country as part of my vacation, meet a dear friend, and take part in an event called Westpac Small Business EXPO (sponsored by Westpac Bank at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre) on 03 August 2024. I am writing this application to convince you to provide me with a visitor visa that allows me to tour the country from 25.07.2024 to 04.08.2024 (10 days).
The intention of my visit to Australia
I am a successful businessman who has been consistently dedicated to my work since 2017. In this time frame, I established not one but three businesses. I work tirelessly to ensure that my work yields profitable results and thus put in significant effort each day. For the last few months, I have been wishing to go on a holiday to relieve my work stress, be a part of an adventurous experience, and expand my perspective by experiencing a new place and culture. When I discussed this wish of mine with my lifelong friend Azeem Sajid Rafiq, who lives in Australia, he at once invited me to come to Australia so that along with tourism I could spend some time with him as well. Azeem and I have always shared a strong bond with each other. We were often referred to as ‘two peas in a pond’. Our brotherhood and affection for each other motivate us to stay in touch despite living far away from one another. The worth of this trip increases manifold for me with the realization that I will be able to spend time with my friend again where we will reminisce old memories, take part in new adventures, talk to our heart’s content, and create fresh experiences for the future. I also liked this idea as I had heard great things about this country and seen beautiful visuals on television as well. Soon, my mind and heart grew curious as well as thrilled with the feeling that I would soon be touring the magnificent land of Australia, and thus started to search for activities/events that interested me. This search brought to my notice a business event that is being organized by Commbank. It is particularly for small business owners like me who have set up work in various industries and are constantly seeking valuable inputs to expand our reach. I realized that I will not get a chance like this again to learn from experts and experiences of other business people that too in a country like Australia which has numerous well-known individuals who have gained success in this field. I thanked my stars for this fortunate opportunity wherein I could benefit professionally while being on a touristy adventure.
Travel Details and Activities Planned
After going keenly over my work schedule, I have finalized that I will be holidaying in Australia from 25 July 2024 to 4 August 2024. Since my friend resides in Perth, it will be the first city where I will travel around and look for places to explore. Due to time constraints, I will be able to visit only one more city, Brisbane. The reason for choosing Brisbane is that I have heard greatly about the liveliness of this place, unique sporting activities, incredible skyline, modern infrastructure, awe-striking landscapes, etc. Some specific attractions that I have planned to make a part of my itinerary are touring the grand Harbour Bridge, visiting the Opera House & Taronga Zoo, viewing the city’s magnificence from Sydney Tower Eye along with visiting galleries and museums in Brisbane, Victoria Bridge, Mount Coot- the summit lookout, etc. From 25 July 2024 to 30 July 2024, I will be staying at a hostel ‘Spinners Hostel’ (342 Newcastle Street, Northbridge, 6003, Perth)). From 31 July 2024 to 4 August 2024, I will be residing at the ‘The Village North Melbourne’ ( 78 Howard Street, North Melbourne, 3051 Melbourne).
Financial Details
All expenditures and costs of my excursion to Australia will be covered by me. In my home country Pakistan, I have set up three businesses by the name Arif Machineries (deals in building materials), Mehrunisa Cosmetics (deals in beauty products), and Arif Traders (deals in electrical appliances). Per year, I make a profit of PKR 75,00,000 from my business ventures. To talk in detail about my financial strength, I have three bank accounts where I have accumulated savings of AUD 75, 876. I am also the owner of a model home. Currently, the worth of my properties and businesses can be estimated at AUD 1,736,836. Further, my family owns vehicles and ornaments that are worth AUD 73,76,886. I come from a well-off family who has always lived a comfortable life. We are financially secure and can afford all our needs as well as luxuries without any form of monetary discomfort. I must assure you that I am fully capable of making an international trip to Australia and will cover all my expected and unexpected expenditures myself.
Incentives to return to Pakistan
With extraordinary labor and commitment, I have set up my I have created my businesses. I can only say that I am excessively proud of my professional achievement and I am connected to my work with all my heart. Every day, I am responsible for overlooking and updating the books of sales/purchases/deals, ensuring client satisfaction, managing employees who work under me, etc. My delayed absence from my work can lead to complications within the companies and I would not prefer this situation at any cost. Thus, my professional obligations encourage me to return to my country within the stipulated time. During the period of my absence, my manager Mr. Faisal Ahmed will be taking over all my business roles and responsibilities.
Another crucial reason that motivates me to return home is my family who will be eager to reunite with me after my trip. I live in Karachi with my aging parents, adorable wife, and two children (a daughter named Fatima and a son named Yaseen. I can not imagine living a life away from them as we are all very close to each other. I am deeply connected to my parents and will always be obliged to them for ingraining a strong value system in me. Unfortunately, my mother has been sick for the last two months due to health-related issues. I will thus be eager to return and get back to my duty of taking appropriate care of her. Both my kids are presently studying in primary school and are the lifeline of our entire household. I cannot stand living away from them for an extended period which is why I will not be delaying my return. Moreover, a special reason that ensures my return to Pakistan is that my dear wife Mehrunisa is currently expecting. She is three months pregnant and I, along with my family are extremely joyous as we await the arrival of a new member into our family. I must confirm that I have no family ties in Australia whatsoever.
To sum up the gist of my application, I would like to reiterate the purpose of my visit which is to come to Australia for tourism, meet a dear friend, and attend a business event to gather insights on how I can make my work flourish. I have written my statement to the best of my capability. I sincerely hope that you will provide me with a visitor visa so that I can fulfill my dream of visiting the country as a tourist. Last but not least, I express my gratitude to you for taking the time to read my application and giving me a chance to present my case to you. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely
Arif Osman
