Dear Sir/Madam,

I, Niharika, hereby introduce myself as a passionate student who has recently graduated in biochemistry. Having assessed the complementing nature of my previous studies with environmental education, I am determined to utilize it to my advantage. Hence, I am glad to share that the logical progression of my career choice has also convinced Centennial College to provide me admission into its Graduate Fast Track program in Environmental Technician. My course is due to begin in May 2024 for which I had already applied for a student visa. Unfortunately, my last visa application remained unapproved due to the following reason:

  • The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.

I have therefore drafted a well-framed explanation for you to review and consider my status as a genuine temporary entrant in Canada.

Motivation & Purpose of Visit

I have been attracted to the field of environmental training due to my strong inclination to data that is associated with life sciences. I would certainly like to get into data and policy-making after the completion of my education in Canada. My major motivation towards pursuing this particular study program relates to my interest in contributing to the planet Earth and reducing carbon print in our atmosphere. Getting a formal specialization in this domain will prepare me to advance in my career as an environmental activist, environmental scientist or environmental engineer. I have thoroughly assessed the potential of this field in my home country and I am highly confident to associate with major environmental organizations in my home country. Due to the lack of qualitative innovation in the area of education-oriented research in my home country, I am determined to pursue further studies in Canada which is a global education leader for the exact opposite reasons. Hence, my study and career objectives have been well-defined in advance. I have associated my further education goals with studying in Canada while I am eager to taste professional success back home.

Academic records

I have been a meritorious student who completed my secondary school with a CGPA of 9.8 in 2015 and senior secondary school with 87% in 2017. Due to having a keen interest in life science, I enrolled in a Bachelor of Biochemistry (Honours) which I have recently completed with a CGPA of 8.32. Having studied various environment-oriented topics during my graduation, I became highly convinced to get a stronghold on environmental management. However, I have always known data to play an important role in the effective management of various environmental aspects. With my diligent research, investigations, and self-study, I was able to narrow down my research for further studies to Centennial College which offers a robust course in Environmental Training. After digging deeper, I became convinced about the applicability of this course in my long-term career. Therefore, I have taken a courageous step to plan my further studies in Canada.

Why Canada?

Canada is one of the finest education providers which is highly acclaimed worldwide. I am interested in pursuing further studies in this particular country due to many reasons which make it superior to other English-speaking countries. Canadian colleges are the most reputed worldwide and so it attracts thousands of international students each year to pursue further education. Due to this, I also anticipate developing many international connections which will serve me in the long run. I am also excited to become a part of the International Alumni Society which will continue to support me as and when needed. Most colleges/universities in Canada hold a QS World ranking which talks volumes about their authenticity as a legitimate education provider. Furthermore, the tuition fee is more affordable than in the UK, USA, or Australia. I am also convinced that I will get a quality education due to its stronghold on education leadership and innovative techniques.

Why not India: I have already completed my graduation recently from India and I have now made up my mind to explore further study options in a country more advanced than mine. Especially because the study system in India is more theoretical, I would not be able to gain practical exposure if I pursued further education in my home country. Instead of this, I am more interested in studying in Canada where I can also get hands-on international exposure which will put me in the right place in Indian environmental organizations. Needless to mention my foreign education will add value to my profile and Indian employers will hire me for the most reputable position(s) than my counterparts.

Why Environmental Training Program at Centennial College?

Considering my selection of Centennial College for pursuing further studies, I would like to share that my rigorous research led me to choose this particular college over others. After the completion of my bachelor’s in biochemistry, I am determined to work for environmental organizations dealing with research and development. However, it is not possible without having a technical qualification related to this subject. As I speculated further options, I could find none other than the course offered at Centennial College. It is certainly the most logical progression of my previous education and will catalyze my success back home. I have thoroughly reviewed the course curriculum and found it to offer me transferable skills in the area of environmental management and assessment. This particular course is coupled with a co-op program which will provide me with the requisite practical exposure before finally beginning my career. Also, I am eager to get a stronghold on topics like Environmental Economics, Geospatial Technology, Climate Change and Biodiversity, Environmental Compliance Audits, Floodplain Management, Project Planning fundamentals, field techniques, etc. It will open doorways for me to get into a decent career in the field of environmental science, research, and development. Besides this, my research about Centennial College convinces me to acquire specialization from this revered institution. It focuses on innovative research and dedicated course modules on specific topics. I am sure by studying under its elite mentorship, I would be able to derive beneficial learnings that will lay down a successful career path for me. By undergoing industry-oriented research work, seminars, symposiums, workshops, and a lot more, I am convinced that I will become industry-ready. Also, due to its equally diverse student population, I will experience an international study environment to its best. Considering all of these facts, I am highly interested in completing my further education at Centennial College.
