Sub. Application requesting a Visitor visa for Canada

Respected Sir/Madam

I would like to introduce myself as Fatima Hussain (Passport No.-), a citizen of Afghanistan. I profoundly thank the High Commission of Canada for giving me a chance to express my requirement for a visitor visa to Canada through this application. I feel immeasurable joy as I inform you that my son Murtasim Hussain, aged 18 has secured admission into a prestigious university in Canada, for his bachelorette program. My son has never stayed alone in a foreign land before and this will be a new experience for him. All his focus will be on his studies and finding her feet in a new place and country. To ensure that he does not face any sudden loneliness from his family as well as gets settled as a student in Canada properly, my family has decided that I must go with him so that I can support him in establishing his new life. For this purpose, I have applied for a visitor visa that allows me to temporarily stay in Canada for 2 months precisely.

Since childhood, I have seen my son work hard so that he can perform well in his studies. Being an academic enthusiast, he would strive for excellence in all examinations and extra-curricular activities. Whenever he won an award or recognition in school, he would be extremely proud of herself and would flaunt his certificates to friends and family. Murtasim’s academic prowess is evident from his scores in higher and higher secondary school, where he scored 86.14% in both examinations. I can bear witness to his determination for higher studies as I have often seen him sit with his father and read books to him or talk about marketing strategies that can help him expand the reach of his business. Unfortunately, his academic goals and dreams were cut short in 2020 when the coronavirus spread and educational institutes were closed down. Soon after, the Taliban took over Afghanistan and imposed several restrictions. However, my son’s persistent determination to make his life worthwhile presented him with the chance to complete his higher studies in Canada. Murtasim Hussain received a letter of acceptance from AC Business School and was accepted into the 6-month English for academic preparation program. After completing this course, he will enroll in the same university’s Bachelor of Finance and Management program. It is a pre-requisite that to qualify for the bachelor program, my son performs well in the English language course. It is mandatory that her only focus is on her studies. I am aware that moving to a new country like Canada for education comes with the added responsibility of getting settled in a new environment, buying things of basic requirements, preparing food, managing laundry, taking care of their health, etc. These things can make him compromise with his studies as they consume time and energy. My presence will certainly help him relieve these tensions and give him the time to focus on his studies.

My son’s course will begin on 1st September 2025 and thus I plan on going to Canada on 28th August 2025. I will be living with him for a period of two months as I believe it will be sufficient time to help him settle. For the duration of my stay in Canada, I will be living with my son at Kingston Residency, St. Paul’s Street, Ontario. With me being there with him, he will not have to worry about anything other than his studies, as I will go the extra mile to be his support system.

My sponsor for this two-month trip to Canada is my spouse Mr. Junaid Hussain. He is a businessman who owns a garment factory. He has been working in this field for more than 15 years now and has set up a flourishing business that allows him to make a monthly profit of Afghani 3.5 million. We have properties whose worth is Afghani 5 million. Moreover, our family has ornaments and vehicles whose value can be estimated at Afghani 6 million. My son, Murtasim Hussain, is also a businessman who earns an annual income of Afghani 1 million. We are a well-off family in Afghanistan who have never faced any financial dearth. My husband’s savings and present income are more than enough to allow me to comfortably take this trip to Canada. I can promise you that under no circumstances will I be a financial liability to the Canadian government.

While I must take this trip for my son, my presence is equally important in Afghanistan for the rest of my family. I must return after 2 months as my husband will be awaiting my return. We have been in a loving marriage for more than 20 years now and find solace in each other’s company. I also have a grandchild, Rukhsana Hussain, who is very close to me. Being the apple of my eyes, she is very dear to my heart and I would not prefer to miss out on her growing years for a long period. I must come back and manage my household as well as look after other members of my family as we cannot stay away from each other for long. I am sure that my return to Afghanistan will also ensure that my daughter becomes independent and learns to take care of herself after I provide her with some initial help by living with her for some time.

As I come to the end of my application, I would like to let you know that being a mother and taking care of my kids to the best of my capability has been the most cherished part of my life. For my son, this chance to study further is nothing short of a golden opportunity and my only wish is that by being with him for the first few months, I can help her settle properly so that she can dedicate her attention to her studies only. I truly hope that I have explained my case to you in an appropriate manner. I wholeheartedly thank you for your kind attention to reading this application and expect a positive response in the form of an accepted visa request.

Sincerely

Fatima Hussain
