Sub: Application in response to study permit refused on 11th January 2023 (63286902)
Respected Sir/ Madam,
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to you for allowing me another chance to reinstate my purpose of visiting Ireland. I am Revanth, having experience as a corporate sector employee. Having been inspired by corporate business work throughout my professional tenure, I nurtured this dream of handling critical business operations. To realize this dream, I require full-fledged knowledge of business management. Hence, I am keen to pursue an MSc in International Business Management from Griffith College, for which I have also received a Letter of Admission. However, my study permit was rejected on January 11th, 2023. I would like to reestablish my candidature as that of a genuine temporary student entrant in Ireland through the medium of this application.
Academic Background and Professional Experience
I passed my secondary school in 2014 with 61% while I was a strong contender in my academics, but due to falling severely sick (Typhoid and Dengue) during my final year examination, I couldn’t perform. However, I worked hard on my studies and recovered a substantial percentage of 77.8% in 2016 as I passed school. Due to a strong inclination in business studies, I enrolled in BBA as a part of my undergraduate studies and completed it with a CGPA of 8.27. Eventually, to gain corporate exposure, I joined IndusInd Bank as a Processor of Cash. Here, I was exposed to corporate business and how different departments come together to achieve one objective.
Motivation for Pursuing MSc in International Business Management
Since childhood, I had an innate desire to handle significant business departments in a corporate setting. This inclination took more excellent form as I grew up, and every experience I have had thus far has brought me to this pedestal. Serving at IndusInd Bank allowed me to work in close coordination with other departments and equipped me with the know-how of each department. By visiting Ireland, I intend to utilize this opportunity to study objectives and grow my academic graph to reserve better career prospects. After thoroughly comparing these four nations based on the educational system, cost of living, freedom, and safety, Ireland checked all the boxes for me.
Why study in Ireland?
Ireland provides an excellent study environment to its students, and its exemplary teachings are recognized globally. By studying in Ireland, I would gain a globally recognized certification and an opportunity to grab international exposure. Through studying with a diverse group of students and polishing my skills in a multicultural environment, I am certain to enhance my personality and delivery ability. Over the past years, Ireland has rapidly advanced itself in global business operations; hence, I am hopeful that I will have immense opportunities to unlock a rewarding internship opportunity. It will not only prepare me for the future but also allow me to take home the valuable lessons learned in the most versatile environment.
Why not India?
It is possible for me to find a related course in my country that is also closely similar to the one offered at Griffith College, but the same will have limited or no global exposure. Also, if we compare, the study pattern in India is more inclined towards theoretical concepts, while in Ireland, students are trained in real-world practical situations. At this stage in my career, I require practical learning rather than just theory. By studying in Ireland, I will get both practical knowledge and international exposure that I cannot miss by taking a second chance.
Why Griffith College?
The course curriculum included in the MSc in International Business Management offered by Griffith College perfectly aligns with my study goals. I am convinced that it will lay down a smoother path for me to achieve my career objectives. As I am interested in gaining an in-depth knowledge of International Business Management, the course at Griffith College will enhance my caliber to handle business communication at an international level, develop strategies, analyze business situations, and provide end-to-end solutions to stakeholders. The knowledge of subjects such as Managerial Finance, International Strategy, Research Methods, Global Marketing, Responsible Business Management, Entrepreneurial Innovation, and Regional Analysis will give me an edge over others. This course covers everything that I am aspiring to train myself in. Hence, Griffith College is a perfect choice for me.
Career Aspirations
My short-term career objective is to pass my study program at Griffith College with distinction and bring many laurels to my academic journey. Gaining international exposure and reserving better career opportunities back home is my sole purpose for visiting Ireland and enrolling in this program. However, as a long-term career goal, I wish to utilize my foreign degree, educational experience, and practical learning to grab a rewarding career opportunity with MNCs like Deloitte, KPMG, Infosys, The Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey, and many more. Initially, I would like to join a company as a manager and then crawl up to the C-suite level, where my input can change the future of the business world.
Financial Support
My family is generous in supporting my future endeavors. I have also procured an education loan of INR 49,72,000, approximately equal to Euros 53,424. Hence, I have paid the first-year tuition fee of 19,761 Euros. Please find my receipt attached herewith. Also, I hold 21,877 Euros in my Axis Bank savings account, which will be used to cover my living expenses. Besides this, my father has sponsored 11,471 Euros to support me financially.
Family Details and Ties to Return Home
I belong to a nuclear family, which includes my parents and 1 younger brother. My father is a retired headmaster of a Government school, my mother is a homemaker, and my brother has recently joined TCS as an Associate Engineer after completing his engineering in the IT field. We share strong familial bonds, and together, we stand tall. We support each other and have more than enough to support our financial needs. As the eldest child of my parents, it is my responsibility to take care of all the assets, houses, and vast agricultural land as my brother is younger and I want him to enjoy his life. We earn a decent income of about 20 lakh Indian rupees from renting our agricultural land on lease. This makes me realize the importance of returning to my roots and taking care of my parents, my brother and assets. Hence, I am determined to return home after my study program concludes.
Conclusion
I hereby assure you that I will follow all the immigration rules and not distract from my aim of achieving higher education in Ireland. I have no hidden intent to stay back in the country, and I will soon return to my homeland to fulfill my personal and professional goals in the Indian setting.
Yours sincerely,
Revanth
