I belong to an esteemed family in India which includes my father who is a Colonel in the Indian Army, my homemaker mother, and my sister is a software engineer living separately with her in-laws. Due to my qualified family background, I imbibed strong learning capabilities and did well in my career.  I have been employed in the technology industry for more than 6 years. Having worked at Pragya Industries as a Field Engineer enhanced my career scope. It eventually led me to grow into the roles of Application Engineer and Facilities Engineer which helped me grasp the nitty-gritty of data handling projects. My intrinsic learner’s approach gave me exposure to business intelligence. It has further intrigued my fascination with data analytics and to grow as a BI practitioner. My research into this domain category also fuelled my passion to pursue a Master of Business Analytics from the chosen institution.

Studying in Australia will allow me to learn lessons in an international environment that has remained incognizant throughout my previous studies. Due to its practical teaching, I will also be able to get industry exposure along with a live experience exchange. A low or no crime rate in the country also convinces me of a comfortable and peaceful stay. India is vastly growing in terms of hospitality and tourism yet the education standards require a practical approach. Studying in Australia will allow me to gain practical experience with international exposure while the same will remain absent if I pursue this course in India. However, I have chosen to study at Monash University to unleash greater opportunities in my studies. It will also give me hands-on exposure through industry-specific training and internships.

As I have worked with GAIL India in the past, I aim to work with this sector once again while associating with renowned MNCs in India that cater to GAIL India projects. Through this, I aim to seek an opportunity to work in a position of Business Intelligence Analysis, Analytics Engineer, and Data Engineer. I will continue to deliver exceptional results in my profession and grow myself to even higher positions. In the longer run, I aspire to work with the giant DataKind which handles data on a larger scale. My further research into the energy sector ensures me a prosperous career as the Indian Government has announced to open over 10 lac vacancies by 2028 through multiple data-driven projects. It gives me enormous confidence to have a shining career in my country.

As also mentioned earlier, my family is my strongest support and I will remain forever indebted to my parents for sponsoring my education and living expenses in Australia. More than half of my education will be paid by my father which is AUD 1,20,000. The remaining half will be covered through a secured education loan because we have decent properties and liquid assets as a well-settled family in India. To honor my family, I will return home and repay their gesture in the form of my company and care. I do not have any family ties in Australia which refrains me from elongating my stay in this country beyond my visa permit conditions. I shall abide by the law throughout my time in Australia and act as per the expected behavior.
