 Subject: Application for a Study Visa to pursue Master’s Degree Program.

 Respected Sir/Madam,

 I am Vishal Garg, bearing Indian Passport No. XXXX. I am happy to introduce myself as an enthusiastic Business Marketing Professional with over 3 years of corporate experience. I am delighted to inform you that I have been offered admission to the SRH Hochschule in Nordrhein- Westfalen, Campus Hamm, Germany to pursue Masters in Supply Chain Management. Through this SOP, I am sharing my personal and academic background with you and would like to request you to kindly grant me a study visa for the intended course.

 Academic and Professional Background

As a student, I have been always good and sincere in my studies and conduct. I completed my 12th grade from DID Public School, Patna in the year 2015 with 75 percent as the aggregate. I realized that I enjoy challenging assignments where the application of logic is demanded so I chose to pursue Mechanical Engineering for my graduation. I received my B. Tech degree from Modern Era University, Lucknow in the year 2019 with a CGPA of 7.4.

Soon after my graduation, I joined WebDaksh Pvt Ltd. and with that ventured into the professional field. Here I worked for our client Google PlayStore and was involved in the execution of three projects: Marlo Process, Repacking Process, and Brand Spam Process. My primary roles here ranged from management and allocation of Play Store content towards the workflow in line with Google Policies to the maintenance and adherence to client review policy protocol ensuring the set quality assurance. I was also engaged in reviewing in-app functionality within two apps with UI, Core functionality, and assets following Repackaging Process. Also, I reviewed apps following Marlo and the Brand Spam Process to ensure that standard filtering processes are effective as per clients’ set policies and standards.

Recently, I was absorbed by Lakshmipathy Agro Food Industry, Betiya where I am helping the new start-up. For this new business firm, I am helping them with planning and marketing their product, Yellow Mark Mustard Oil. I have assisted them in drafting and executing marketing policies as per the existing market environment in the region so as to attain better outreach with the consumers and to build a long-term consumer base for the new brand. In this project, I am managing a team of more than 20 skilled laborers, technical staff, lab operators, and Sales Representatives. I also monitor the production of oil and keep quality control in my observations so as to ensure that entire operations are in line with industry norms and guidelines. Having spent about three years in the market and industry in various roles and responsibilities, I have now got a good grasp of its intricacies. I understand its potential and constraint better. Hence now I believe it is time for me to upskill myself for my future career progression and so I have decided to pursue this Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management.

My proficiency in English is good as is evident from my scores in the IELTS exam in which I scored an Overall Band of 7. I am sure I will also be quick in learning German too once I am there for my Master’s course program. In view of Covid, I have been fully vaccinated against the virus and so I am eligible for any international travel as per present guidelines.

Choosing Master in Supply Chain Management

While pursuing my engineering degree in college, I was exposed to various aspects of mechanical engineering. I got inclined to the logistical and marketing aspects of industries too when I had an opportunity to explore the related domains of automobiles and other industries where engineering has its direct or indirect application. During my internship, my interest grew further in the aspect of logistical management that is involved to ensure the smooth functioning of these industries. I feel that by the way of this program, I will have the chance to attain a broader perspective of supply chain management, and a robust international exposure of this industry, which will further help me excel professionally.

 Choosing SRH Hochschule in Nordrhein-Westfalen

SRH Hochschule in Nordrhein-Westfalen is one of the reputed institutes of Germany known for offering high-quality course programs in Engineering, Business, and Social Science. Its course program in Supply Chain Management in particular is regarded very highly in the world industry. Attaining guidance under the mentorship of an erudite faculty, and engaging with like-minded individuals at this university will enhance my employment prospects in my homeland.

Choosing Germany

Right from the very beginning, Germany’s free and fair education system has always served as a guiding example for the rest of the world to emulate. Germany is an education-oriented society and has a unique culture with rich traditions which acts as a magnet to some of the brightest students in the world. Studying in Germany in such a rich environment will give me international experience as will at which I will miss out if I pursue any similar course from my home country. Hence, getting an opportunity to study in Germany is like a dream coming true for me.

 Ties to Home Country & Future Goals

My parents are my biggest support and encouragement in my educational endeavours and do after obtaining a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management from Germany I will return to my home country where all my relations and family ties exist. Also, with a large market in India, it has huge opportunities for qualified and skilled candidates in the domain of the supply chain. I would join a reputed organization in the sector of IT and work in Supply Chain in Big Data Management where I could have the application of my learnings. I am sure to ascend quickly to the higher management roles of the industry. In the long run, I intend to start up my own venture in the IT sector.

I have sufficient funds in my savings and also have got an education loan to bear all the expenses of my course program from Germany. I have paid my complete tuition fee for the first semester which is 24,713 €. The necessary documents in this regard are attached herein with this letter. I hereby declare that I have understood all the legal implications and that I would abide by the same during my stay in Germany while pursuing this study program. I would be highly obliged to you for processing this application and for the issue of an appropriate visa in view of the details shared with you.
