Below is the Sample Scholarship Essay for University of Texas, Dallas

With an ardent interest in academics, I have secured above-average grades in some of the technical and business-related subjects during my Bachelor’s in Marketing Management. In some, my grades have been average, showcasing the comprehensive knowledge that I have gained in most of the subjects. Owing to my previous projects and track record, I have been a good student and now intend to carry forward this for the MS program too.

However, to meet the financial needs, attaining a scholarship would be imperative. If I get the scholarship to support my academic endeavor, I will have extra hours to devote to studies and learning beyond the curriculum, through real-time exposure as well. This extra focus will empower me to excel in my studies and attain my future goals of being an expert in market trends and overseeing business operations.

My experience as an intern has also contributed to my learning. I worked as an intern at Blueprint Builders in the finance and administration department. Working here I imbibed practical learning that entailed planning, networking, controlling, and checking for deviations, their pros and cons. This work also helped me learn the art of balancing priorities. Thus, the scholarship program will be a requisite as I will be able to balance fewer hours of work and get enough time to pursue my studies. Also, this will give me a sense of achievement as I will independently achieve my academic goals.

Moreover, this being an academic scholarship, I have secured above average GPA of 3.4 in my undergraduate studies. I have also showcased good analytical and logical reasoning as displayed through my GRE score of 320. I am inclined to learn through the vast curriculum that the university has and the scholarship will provide the much-needed credence to gradually mitigate the large expense that I will pay in the form of tuition fees. The scholarship will provide immediate relief after I pay the tuition fee.

Hence, I request the admissions committee to consider my grades and experience as my achievements and support my desire to attain my goals.
